🚨TAKE ACTION NOW TO SUPPORT IRISH LANGUAGE AND IRISH STUDIES AT UM🚨
The timeline on this decision is immediate. If you want to help, now is the time.
What is happening
The University of Montana is moving toward a decision that would terminate the Irish language program and place Irish Studies into moratorium. This is being described as a simple administrative change. It is not. Removing the Irish language would damage exchange programs, cultural organizations, statewide education efforts, and Montana-Ireland partnerships built over nearly two decades.
